System Engineer

Currently we’re looking for a Systems Engineer to join our client in Essex. This client is a market leader in the defence industry and has plenty of project work in the pipeline for Systems Engineers.

The role involves decomposing top-level architecture into subsystem requirements, breaking subsystems down further into technical requirements, and ensuring competency from top-level architecture to subsystem detailing.

You will be required to be on site 3 days per week initially, with this then potentially decreasing to 2 days as you progress in the position.

It is highly desirable for the client if you are a UK national with current SC.

We are looking for consultants with experience in:

• Must be familiar with Doors and be able to derive requirements.
• Ideally, full Systems V experience from Requirements derivation, through Design and Verification to Certification (specialists are welcome).
• Ideally, familiarity with at least one; Radar, Electro Optics, RF, Networking, and GUI/HMI.
• Experience in MBSE and MATLAB would be beneficial.
• Ability to produce high quality customer-facing documentation.
• System of Systems and System integration experience beneficial.
