Job summary

A consulting firm in Glasgow seeks a candidate to participate in the design and delivery of systems for wide area networks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical writing skills, with a desire to mentor others. Cisco and/or Red Hat certification is preferred. • Support Acceptance Test with Customer.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Participate in the definition, design, installation and delivery of systems comprising servers and network elements deployed over wide area networks

• Identifying all contractual system requirements (system analysis inclusive of interface requirements) and propose solutions

• Work with the project or system manager to generate system specifications

• Set up test bed for development and integration testing

• Sourcing equipment and managing vendor

• Formulating system validation and sub-system integrations into Acceptance Test cases and evaluation activities

• Support Acceptance Test with Customer and compiling Acceptance Test report

Requirements

• Cisco and/or Red Hat certification is highly desired

• Interest in hardware integration and site testing

• Willingness to travel for overseas assignments

• Working location is in Jurong East
