Responsibilities:

1. Assist in ASIC product development and testing
2. Port ASIC RTL code onto FPGA for pre-Si testing
3. Test Proof-of-Concept architectures and IPs on FPGAs
4. Design FPGA test benches for mixed-signal devices
5. Develop test plans to improve architecture and identify bugs
6. Test and validate FPGA blocks, aiming for automated regression testing
7. Contribute to product definition, evaluation, testing, and release
8. Participate in project meetings and reviews

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
2. Knowledge of FPGA devices and tools
3. Hands-on experience with hardware, firmware, and software testing
4. Experience with in-circuit emulators, bus interfaces, and analyzers
5. Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
6. Attention to detail and result interpretation skills
7. Ability to work under tight and variable deadlines
8. High-level communication and collaboration skills
9. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
10. Ability to interpret schematics; PCB design experience beneficial
11. Python scripting experience helpful
12. Familiarity with DACs/ADCs/DSPs useful

This position can be based in Newbury or Edinburgh.
