Job Title: System Dev Engineer - Last Mile Tech Team, Hyderabad

The Last Mile tech team in Hyderabad is seeking a System Development Engineer to collaborate with the Delivery Associate Lifecycle Management (DA-LCM) tech and product team within Amazon's transportation organization. The engineer will specialize in Tech and OE frameworks used within last-mile and DSP tech teams.

Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues.
  2. Developing monitoring solutions and performing software maintenance and scaling.
  3. Implementing fixes for internally developed code and performing SQL queries.
  4. Updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges.
  5. Collaborating on DA-LCM software projects, enhancing current software, automating support processes, and documenting systems.

Ideal candidate qualities:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Proactive problem identification and solution implementation.

DSP (Delivery Service Partner) tech aims to empower small business owners to build high-quality, sustainable logistics companies. It supports approximately 10 billion packages annually through last-mile operations and handles over 90% of AMZL package volume. The team focuses on building scalable, mobile-first, and highly evolvable tech systems to exceed customer expectations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
