Responsibilities

• Assist the Core Section Head with developing technical solutions for maritime afloat tasks, troubleshooting SOPs, and hardware upgrades.
• Plan and coordinate ship surveys prior to CIS installation.
• Support the System Administration of hardware and software systems.
• Maintain and update all technical and service documentation related to systems and interconnections.
• Report configuration control data promptly to the Core Section Head.
• Provide remote support during Flagship handovers for nations involved in the Standing Naval Forces.
• Collaborate closely with technicians and engineers within the CSU and NCI Agency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge and experience in VMware Virtualisation technology.
• Knowledge of SAN technology.
• Experience in Windows workstation imaging techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Server Technologies, including Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Knowledge of Application Server technologies.
• Understanding of the ITIL IT service management model.
• Experience in Incident and Problem Management processes.
