Job description

- Knowledge and practical experience in VMware virtualization technology, including VCSA configuration, ESX upgrade, and bare metal deployment.
- Ability to configure, upgrade, and deploy VMware environments.
- Knowledge and practical experience in configuring iSCSI targets for virtualized environments.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Server Technologies, including Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
- Knowledge of the ITIL IT service management framework.
- Experience with Incident and Problem Management processes.
- Ability to write technical documentation and user guides.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, using rigorous logic and methods to find effective solutions, probing all sources for answers, identifying hidden problems, and looking beyond the obvious.
- Customer focus, with an emphasis on understanding and satisfying customer needs, maintaining high standards, and building effective relationships.
- Ability to deploy at short notice to resolve equipment failures on virtualized mission-critical systems.
- Due to the nature of the role, candidates with or who have previously held high-level security clearance are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be required to undergo security clearance, which may take up to 10 weeks.
