We are seeking a skilled and deployable System Administrator. This position plays a critical role in afloat operations, involving hardware/software system administration, CIS installations, and technical support aboard deployed warships.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and deployable System Administrator. This position plays a critical role in afloat operations, involving hardware/software system administration, CIS installations, and technical support aboard deployed warships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of technical solutions and troubleshooting SOPs for maritime operations
• Assist in planning and coordinating ship surveys for CIS installations
• Perform system administration of assigned hardware and software
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and configuration control
• Provide remote technical support for Flagship handovers
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and stakeholders across NATO networks

Required Skills & Experience:

• Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Strong experience with VMware virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of SAN systems
• Proficiency in Windows workstation imaging
• Microsoft Server technologies (Active Directory, Exchange)
• Familiarity with application server technologies
• Understanding of ITIL framework and service management best practices
• Experience in Incident and Problem Management
• Ability to write technical documentation and user guides
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift equipment up to 25kg
• Work involves physical tasks aboard warships, often in confined spaces
• 25%–40% TDY travel required
• Must be fully deployable and vaccinated against COVID-19
