OneStream Software is a Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in Cloud Platform services and hosting customer environments in Microsoft Azure. Our proprietary software is installed in the customer's hosted cloud environment and managed by us. This position involves implementing and supporting customer environments, including gathering customer-specific configurations, preparing environments for go-live, and responding to customer support tickets. The role requires knowledge of analyzing and articulating common business processes and decisions to resolve customer issues. The employee should work well in a small team, be willing to share responsibilities, and interact with internal staff, managers, and customers worldwide. A passion for technology, continuous learning, and the ability to mentor others are essential for success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities:

  • Implementing customer environments and configuring software.
  • Performing environment updates and software upgrades.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Monitoring customer environments via Azure alerts and Operations Management Suite.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and performing on-call duties.

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Participating in architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment.
  • Architecting, designing, and implementing solutions with Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
  • Updating technical documentation, workflows, and knowledge articles.
  • Identifying security and process improvement opportunities.
  • Implementing changes to achieve compliance certification.
  • Supporting internal infrastructure projects.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required Education and Experience:

  • Working towards a BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AZ900 certification highly desired.
  • Experience in analyzing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems.
  • Understanding of computer systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT compliance, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of network engineering and infrastructure experience.
  • Experience as a help desk technician or in customer service roles.
  • Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, REST APIs, JSON, ARM Templates, Azure AD, Okta, OpenID Connect, SAML, cryptographic protocols, and network security devices.
