Overview

We are looking for a driven Team Leader to join the syrup mixing room of a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bondgate (WF8).

Salary is £33,500pa • £25.27ph • Overtime rates after 42 hours worked • 3 on 3 off Shift pattern – Days – 07:00 to 19:00 • Permanent role and working 42 hours per week • Benefits: 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), Company pension scheme, Healthcare options, and access to Discount & Offers Platform.

Summary

As a Syrup and Ingredients Team Leader, you will be a key leader in the syrup mixing / process room, directly responsible for a team of 3. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the syrup mixing processes. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will manage shift resources, deliver on KPIs, and motivate your team to achieve production targets.

You will support changeovers and asset care activities, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. A large part of your role will involve people management, including conducting training, performance reviews, and development plans to ensure your team is skilled and engaged.

Requirements
  • Ideally you will be an experienced production team leader with at least 1 year's experience.
  • Strong people management skills and solid technical awareness of manufacturing equipment.
  • You will be a decisive problem-solver, comfortable working in a dynamic environment to ensure production plans are delivered in full.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a process production team on shift, ensuring safe working practices.

  • Oversee production line operations, supporting changeovers and asset care.
