Skyborne Airline Academy at Gloucestershire Airport is seeking a Synthetic Training Instructor to join our team. The role focuses on simulator-based training using DA42 FNPT II devices and ground instruction.

Ideal candidates are experienced flight instructors transitioning from flying to teaching, ready to share knowledge and expertise while delivering theoretical instruction for MEP and IR phases. Full-time, part-time or contract basis available.

Qualifications

• Holds or has held UK Part-FCL CPL(A) or ATPL(A).
• Current or recently expired FI(A) unrestricted.
• English language proficiency level 5 or 6.
• STI(A) issued.
• Sponsor IRI/CRI ME qualifications if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver simulator-based training on DA42 FNPT II devices.
• Support theoretical instruction for MEP and IR phases.
• Assist experienced flight instructors transitioning to teaching.
