Job summary

Skyborne invites qualified instructors to join its aviation education team at Gloucestershire Airport. You will deliver flight and simulator training to trainees, following Skyborne standards and aviation regulations, and work toward additional ratings.

The role is based onsite with a starting salary of £55,000 per year, plus potential bonus schemes and comprehensive benefits. You will be part of a dynamic, safety‑focused academy serving UK and international aviation partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to aviation education and safety.
• UK CAA Part-FCL unrestricted Flight Instructor (A) certificate required.
• CPL and IR-SP-ME licenses.
• Minimum 200 hours of instrument flight time.
• IRI/CRI ME & PIC MEP hours – sponsorship possible.
• Unrestricted UK CAA Class 1 Medical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality flight and simulator instruction to trainees.
• Conduct trainings per approved ATO manual and Skyborne schedule.
• Provide briefings and debriefings to trainees.
• Uphold flight safety and adherence to regulations during training.
