We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled synthetic organic chemist seeking a challenging career in isotope chemistry. Working within a growing, multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for synthesizing and purifying isotopically labelled, biologically active compounds used in regulatory studies to support new product development and registration. Experience in handling radioisotopes is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided and you will be supported by our experienced isotope chemists.
We are seeking applicants with a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry or a related degree with at least one year of relevant industrial experience or placement in a synthetic organic chemistry environment. Ideally, you will have a broad understanding of organic reactions and a passion for bench work. You should demonstrate a strong track record of achievement and the ability to apply practical skills to prepare a wide range of targets. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to meet tight deadlines.
