My client is a leading international contract research organisation partnering with a broad range of organisations from global blue chip pharmaceutical companies down to virtual biotechs. They operate across Europe, the US and Asia and have successfully facilitated the delivery of complex and challenging biologically active NCEs to support novel drug discovery projects.
Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking to hire a skilled Synthetic Organic Chemist to join their state-of-the-art laboratory facility in Essex. The Synthetic Organic Chemist will be responsible for the design, synthesis and purification of isotopically labelled, biologically active compounds used in regulatory studies to support the development and registration of new products.
Experience in handling radioisotopes would be an advantage but is not essential as a comprehensive Radiochemistry training program will be provided. The company runs a GLP/GMP facility and training will be given in this area.
