Social Work Resources are committed to providing services for children, young people, families, adults, and older people in need of care and protection.

We are recruiting for Social Worker posts within Adult and Older People’s Services to provide a professional service to our client groups. These posts are based within Community Mental Health Teams. We welcome applications from registered Social Workers and Final Year Degree in Social Work Students looking to start their careers as Social Workers. Final year students must be qualified within 2 months of submitting their application.

You will work as an effective team member, helping us make a positive difference in the community. You will provide assessment and care management services, including relevant statutory duties. You will act as a Social Worker, undertake casework involving partnership working, and provide professional advice and guidance to individuals, families, and groups within the community. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for preparing reports and case notes of a high standard. You should demonstrate the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds, gaining their trust to help them access our services. Sensitivity, patience, and understanding are crucial in handling various situations effectively and non-judgmentally.

All applicants must be registered or in the process of registering with the Scottish Social Services Council and hold a Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.

Hours: 35 per week

Vacancy: Permanent

Salary: £39,235 - £45,184
