Job summary

A leading company is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Social Care Assistant. You will work as part of a team to provide care and support to older people in South Lanarkshire. The role requires commitment to promoting independence and rights while working a casual/bank shift. Candidates should hold a relevant qualification or be willing to work towards it, and must register with the SSSC within 6 months.

In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent provider organisations, we offer a range of services to enable, support, improve, and protect the health and social care of service users.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is flexible, willing to undertake delegated tasks as part of a team. You should be committed to promoting service users' independence, rights, choice, and individuality, and be available to work one of our shift rosters.

The successful candidate will ideally hold an SVQ in Social Care Level 2 or 3 or an HNC in Social Care, or be willing to work towards these qualifications. Additionally, candidates must be registered with SSSC or in the process of registration. Registration is required within 6 months of employment.
