Job Description

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Switchboard Operator to join our friendly Front Office Team here at Fairmont St Andrews on a casual basis.

A Little More About The Role

  • To ensure that all incoming calls are dealt with correctly and efficiently, and that all messages and enquiries are taken and passed on to the relevant persons.
  • To assist with any guest enquiries wherever possible, and to give information on local amenities and hotel facilities.
  • To ensure that all calls are answered within 3 rings, thus ensuring there is no lost business for the hotel.
  • Pleasant, well spoken with good English
  • Educated to a reasonable standard.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer facing role is desirable
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
