Job summary

ABL Health in Swindon is seeking a qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist to deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing anxiety and depression, as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team.

You will work with schools, families and professionals to deliver one-to-one, group and parent-led interventions (e.g., TripleP), assess risk, maintain clinical records, and participate in supervision and CPD to ensure practice stays aligned with current evidence and

Qualifications

• Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies Practice (HI CBT) or equivalent.
• Eligibility for BABCP Accreditation.
• Experience with anxiety disorders in children/young people.
• Experience with mood disorders in children/young people.
• Delivery of CBT and related interventions for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools, families and professionals to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions.
• Deliver one-to-one, group and parent-led interventions (e.g., TripleP).
• Assess and manage risk; maintain clinical records and monitor outcomes.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings; contribute to service development and training materials.
• Participate in supervision, CPD and ensure practice aligns with guidelines.
