Are you a qualified Swim Teacher looking for a new opportunity?

As part of the Aquatics team, working across North Lanarkshire’s Swimming Pools, you will ensure the safe and effective operation of the swimming lesson programme, teach, and develop appropriate lessons for groups and individuals to meet the needs of each level within the Scottish Swimming’s Learn to Swim Framework.

With experience of working in a leisure facility/environment, you must possess the following minimum qualification:

*You must be willing to undertake the required conversion course if you hold an existing ASA/UKCC Level 1 or equivalent qualification.

In addition, you must also have an understanding as well as experience of the health and safety requirements within the leisure industry. Equally important is your team player attitude as is your ability to work on your own initiative. Possession of excellent communication and customer care skills, as well as the ability to comply with the flexible hours associated with the programme are also essential.

As a requirement of these posts, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.

Location: Wishaw Sports Centre, Wishaw

Working Pattern:

Monday – 8.15am to 1.45pm, Tuesday – 12.15pm to 7.15pm, Wednesday – 9.15am to 7.15pm, Thursday – 10am to 3pm and Sunday – 8.15am to 1.45pm
