Location: Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre, B14 6ER

Salary: Up to £15.53 per hour + excellent benefits

Casual & Part Time: To cover a mixture of early, late and weekend shifts.

You'll be entrusted to:

  • Plan and deliver lessons to suit each swimmer in the class.
  • Ensure safe provision and correct use of all equipment.
  • Establish and make sure that safety standards are followed in every lesson.
  • Identify participants' abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential.
  • Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques.
  • Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance.

Does this sound like you?
You'll be a great fit for this role if you...

  • Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2.
  • Are a strong swimmer.
  • Holding either a valid RLSS UK NPLQ or RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety would be advantageous but not essential as we can provide the training to complete these courses free of charge.
  • Have plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Are willing to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds to enable your team to hit their targets.
  • Are a team player.
