Here at More Leisure, our goal is to get more people active by providing affordable, safe, and enjoyable lessons for all. We are currently recruiting Casual Swimming Teachers to expand our programmes and ensure we can achieve this. If you are passionate about providing access to affordable lessons for children and adults of all abilities and backgrounds, this role could be right for you.

Following the proven Swim England learn to swim framework, we develop swimmers' confidence through fun and enjoyable lessons. Many of our swimmers have progressed to competitive swimming and even represented our country.

As a swimming teacher, you will deliver safe, fun, and progressive lessons. We also promote this positive mentality in our teachers' careers and personal development.

Serco manages these facilities on behalf of the Trust.

What you’ll need to do the role

You should have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

You must hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2 qualification.

Possessing a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided free of charge.
