Job description

Swimming Teacher

Liverpool | Pool | Permanent | Part Time

Up to £32,240 pro rata depending on experience

4 hours per week (with opportunity for further hours on bank)

As Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity, we’re passionate about helping people find more ways to be fit and healthy. We’re looking for a confident, approachable Swimming Teacher with great communication skills to provide safe, effective swimming lessons for our customers.

As a Swim Instructor at our Liverpool fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need an SEQ Level 2 or STA Certificate, good people skills, and a love for swimming. We serve swimmers of all ages and abilities, following the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience in achieving targets and collaborating with colleagues to improve your lessons’ performance.

As a Swim Instructor you will:

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
• Help people learn and develop during every opportunity
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Promote memberships by explaining the benefits of our facilities
