swim@ is recruiting Swimming Teachers to deliver fun, safe, and structured lessons for children aged 3-11. You will bring energy and a positive approach to every class, while maintaining high teaching and safety standards that ensure a first-class experience for swimmers and their families.

Join a team supported by Olympians and committed to ongoing training, development, and high-quality venues. Evening and weekend work may be required, with opportunities to teach across multiple swim@

Qualifications

• Essential: a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Desirable: Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (STA or SEQ, or Swim England).
• Desirable: Lifesaving, safeguarding, or first aid qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Deliver themed, structured swimming lessons for children aged 3-11 (beginners to confident swimmers).
• Provide a modern, engaging and safe teaching style.
• Deliver outstanding customer care, welcoming families and communicating with parents.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment for all swimmers.
• Use digital systems to track progress, celebrate milestones and share results.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and site teams to maintain high standards.
• Attend training and team meetings to stay current and improve.

The Role

We’re looking for engaging, inspiring Swimming Teachers to join our award-winning team. You’ll deliver fun, safe, and structured swimming lessons that help children build confidence and achieve their potential in the water. You’ll bring energy and personality to every class, while maintaining the highest teaching and safety standards ensuring every swimmer and parent enjoys a first-class experience.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver, and review themed, structured swimming lessons for children aged 3-11 (from beginners to competent swimmers).
• Deliver with a modern, engaging and dynamic style always looking to bring your best self
• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families, engaging with parents, and ensuring every swimmer feels supported.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all swimmers.
• Use our digital systems to track progress, celebrate milestones, and communicate results.
• Communicate confidently with parents and guardians to keep them informed and involved.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and site teams to maintain our high standards.
• Attend training and team meetings to stay current and continuously improve.
• If you are located close to other swim@ and swim! venues there is an opportunity to work across multiple locations.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Commitment to high teaching and safety standards.

• Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (STA or SEQ, or Swim England)
• Experience teaching children or working in a leisure environment.
• Lifesaving, safeguarding, or first aid qualifications.
