Part Time - Weekends and Weekdays

We are looking for a Swimming Teacher to promote our Swimming Lesson brand, deliver engaging swimming lessons to all ages and abilities, and provide exceptional customer service standards.

Primary Objectives for the Swimming Teacher:

• Ensure the successful delivery of the Learn to Swim programme in line with company policy and Swim England Learn to Swim framework.

The Swimming Teacher will focus on the following daily tasks:

• Teach customers of varying ages and abilities as per the Swim England’s Learn to Swim framework and complete all necessary administration.
• Maintain teaching, customer care, and health and safety standards in line with company policy.
• Maximise retention of swimming lesson participants through quality standards, motivation, and customer care.
• Ensure strong communication links between yourself, the swim manager, reception, and duty management.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and concerns.

The Person:

• Our swimming lessons are based on the Swim England Learn to Swim framework. It is desirable to hold an SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification or equivalent. Candidates with an SEQ Level 1 Assistant Teaching qualification will be considered with a view to train to complete your SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification.
• The NRASTC or NPLQ qualification is desirable, but successful applicants will be provided with full training.
• The position is subject to a DBS check.
• Ability to communicate well with both children and adults in a teaching setting.
• Ability to gain acceptance and respect from colleagues and customers.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and teachers.
• Flexibility in working hours to meet role demands.
• Passion for improving swim lessons and customer service.
