Job summary

The King’s School Sports Centre in Canterbury is seeking experienced Level 2 Swimming Instructors to join a friendly, professional team. The Centre offers lessons across Discovery Duckling, Learn to Swim, Swim Academy, Adults, Crash Courses and Private lessons, seven days a week with daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Successful applicants will have a strong aquatics background and a passion for teaching, including experience teaching and coaching adults.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification.
• Desirable: Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers.
• Desirable: Level 1 Coaching Qualification.
• Desirable: Current Lifesaving or Teachers Rescue Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons across our programme (Discovery Duckling to Private lessons).
• Work across seven days with daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
• Match availability to staffing rota and operational needs.
• Commit to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Education

Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification

Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers

Level 1 Coaching Qualification

Current Lifesaving or Teachers Rescue Qualification
