An established industry player is seeking a dedicated swimming instructor to join their learn to swim scheme. This role involves delivering high-quality swimming instruction while ensuring the safety and well-being of participants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as evenings and weekends may be required. This is a fixed-term position until October 31, 2025, offering an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community. Deliver a high standard of swimming instruction within the Council's learn to swim scheme and undertake all associated tasks related to this role.
This role may require flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.
Working pattern will be confirmed, but candidates must be available to work during the hours of 9am - 5pm.
Fixed Term contract until 31/10/2025.

This position involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
