Now Hiring: Head Coach – Swimming & Diving

Manchester University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving to lead our NCAA Division III program. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned coach seeking a fresh challenge and a chance to shape a growing program in a supportive, student-focused environment.

About the Role:
As Head Coach, you will oversee all aspects of the swimming and diving program, including coaching, recruitment, team development, and program management. You’ll work closely with university leadership to promote academic and athletic excellence, mentor student-athletes, and help build a culture of integrity and success.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Lead daily practices, training, and meet preparation.
  2. Recruit and retain student-athletes who thrive academically and athletically.
  3. Manage program budgets, travel, and equipment.
  4. Supervise assistant coaches and collaborate across departments.
  5. Ensure compliance with NCAA, HCAC, and university guidelines.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of coaching experience preferred.
  2. Experience with NCAA Division III athletics strongly preferred.
  3. CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
  4. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. Committed to fostering an inclusive team culture and student development.
