Position: Swimming and Diving Assistant Coach

Department:Athletics

Campus:North Manchester, IN

Target Hire Date:July 2025

Manchester University invites applications for the Swimming and Diving Assistant Coach. We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented professional who is committed to fostering the academic and athletic success of student-athletes and contributing to a culture that values diversity, integrity, and respect.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts and implement annual recruitment strategies

  • Monitor student-athlete eligibility and academic performance in collaboration with campus support services

  • Support retention programs and maintain program benchmarks

  • Plan and conduct practices with attention to safety and athlete development

  • Assist with travel planning, budgeting, inventory, and equipment management

  • Collaborate with athletic training, sports information, and administrative staff

  • Uphold institutional, conference, and NCAA Division III regulations

  • Represent the University positively during events, admissions activities, and fundraising initiatives

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience preferred, particularly within NCAA Division III

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Commitment to student development and holistic support

  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain on-site)

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
