Description

The University of Liverpool is highly committed to sport and aims to raise the performance of our student teams competing in British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) and other recognised sports competitions. The University of Liverpool is offering an opportunity for a coach who is passionate about Swimming and is seeking to continue our drive for excellence by working closely with the Swimming Club committee and Sport Liverpool staff. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to improving performance and developing Swimming at all levels. You will have experience or empathy of working within a student environment.

Job Requirements

• To lead and deliver structured coaching sessions to club members at the University.

• Deliver comprehensive training to swimmers in order to prepare them for competition

• Provide structured sessions and cater for all abilities within the club • Assist with team selection for BUCS competitions

• To provide feedback on the development of club members.

• Provide a safe and inclusive environment, you will be a strong leader and have the ability to balance the training and development of all members

• To be committed to professional development Required Qualifications/ Experience

• Experience of working at a high level with the 18-24 year age group is desirable.

• To be agreed, dependant on qualifications and experience.
