Swim Teaching Assistant - Casual - Hailsham Leisure Centre

From swimming lessons to walking football and everything in-between, we are driven to provide fun and welcoming sessions to support the whole community to be active, both within our leisure centres and in the local community.

We are looking for enthusiastic Swim Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and professional team. You will be part of our successful swim school team, assisting either in group or individual lessons. You will need to have a passion for swimming and teaching, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered at all times. You must be able to communicate well. This post is subject to a DBS check. We want our employees and customers to have the best experience possible, so if this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.

Requirements

• Level 1 swimming teaching qualification (training can be provided for the right applicant)
• To assist children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
• To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
• High level of professionalism and integrity, enthusiasm and motivation
• DBS check
