Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher to deliver swimming lessons at Manor Leisure Centre. Casual hours allow flexible scheduling while supporting customers of all ages and abilities. Training will be provided for additional qualifications, and DBS clearance is required.

You will work with families, communicate progress, and uphold safety standards in a welcoming environment. Opportunities for career growth and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
• To communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
• To supervise customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring safety and discipline
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
• An ability to deal with children and their parents
• Enhanced DBS check
