Job summary

Parkwood Leisure Limited is seeking an experienced Swimming Manager for Penzance Leisure Centre. This permanent, full-time role requires 37.5 hours per week, leading the aquatics team and delivering high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

You will manage Swimming Teachers and Lifeguards, ensure day-to-day operations, and drive participation and revenue in the swim school and related activities, while maintaining training qualifications and a clean, efficient facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the leisure industry, preferably aquatics.
• A current, recognised swimming teaching qualification (e.g., Level 2).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A welcoming nature and efficient approach to work.
• A strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the pool and surrounding areas, strictly adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Salary £28000 plus additional teaching hours, plus bonus

37.5 hours per week to include teaching schools and group lessons

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Swimming Manager to lead our aquatics team. You will be responsible for the successful operation and development of our swimming programme, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

As a Swimming Manager you will:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the team of Swimming Teachers and Lifeguards.
