Job summary

Oundle School and Laxton Junior School is seeking instructors to deliver an engaging swim programme for adults and children of all abilities. You will prepare equipment, ensure safety provisions, welcome participants, and deliver effective sessions, creating a friendly experience for all visitors.

To succeed, you must be able to instruct participants of varying abilities and demonstrate motivation. A SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desired, with a pathway to use

Qualifications

• Ability to instruct participants of varying abilities and motivate clients.
• Willingness to work towards SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Prepare equipment and ensure safety provisions prior to lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging swim sessions for adults and children of all abilities.
• Welcome participants in a friendly manner and provide a positive experience.
• Assist with lessons and check safety provisions and equipment beforehand.
