Job summary

Virgin Active in the United Kingdom is seeking four Swim Instructors to join its Family Activities Team. The role involves delivering high-quality swimming lessons that build confidence and a love of the water, across all ages and abilities. This is a zero-hours contract.

You will promote lessons, follow the national teaching plan, ensure a safe pool environment and provide excellent member service. Successful candidates will have Level 2 teaching swimming qualifications and strong communication

Qualifications

• Swim England/ASA Level 2 in Teaching Swimming or STA Level 2 Certificate.
• Exceptional communication skills in a customer-facing environment.
• Flexible, friendly and approachable, able to connect with members and people from all walks of life.

Responsibilities

• Promote poolside activities and swimming lessons to members and deliver to high standards.
• Develop creative classes following the national plan for Teaching Swimming.
• Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all members.
• Deliver excellent customer service with personal attention to members.
• Keep accurate records for attendance and progress.
