Job summary

Virgin Active in the United Kingdom is seeking a Swim Instructor to join the Family Activities Team. You will inspire swimmers of all ages, deliver high-quality lessons and create a safe, supportive learning environment for members of all abilities.

You will follow Swim England/ASA guidelines, deliver engaging sessions, and provide exceptional member service. The role suits someone who is flexible, friendly and enjoys connecting with people in a welcoming wellness club.

Qualifications

• Swim England/ASA Level 2 in Teaching Swimming or STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment.
• Flexible, friendly and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all poolside activities and scheduled swimming lessons are promoted effectively and delivered to the highest standard, creating an exceptional experience for our members.
• Developing creative and innovative classes following the Swim England (ASA) national plan for Teaching Swimming.
• Providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all members within the pool & surrounding areas.
• Delivering excellent member service with personal attention and care to all members.
• Accurately complete records for attendance and improvements in fitness to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Swim management to meet/exceed targets and support commercial success.
