Job summary

Nuffield Health in St Albans is seeking a friendly Swim Instructor to deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons within our fitness and wellbeing site. You will work on a part-time bank basis, with flexible hours to match customer demand and your availability.

Applicants should hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2, have excellent people skills, and a passion for swimming. You will guide learners of all ages, run both one-to-one and group sessions, and promote our gym memberships where

Qualifications

• Must hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2.
• Ability to teach swimming to swimmers of all ages.
• Strong communication and people skills.

St Albans | Fitness | Bank | Part time

Up to £21.00 per hour depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity, we’re passionate about helping people find more ways to be fit and healthy. Now, we’re looking for someone with a confident, approachable manner and great communication skills to provide safe, effective swimming lessons for our customers.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
