What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has opened up to become a Swim Instructor at our school. The Swim Instructor will work under the direction of the senior leadership team, a classroom teacher, or a designated supervisor. The role involves supporting the ethos of the school and collaborating with teachers and support staff to develop and educate children with special educational needs. The responsibilities include providing care and supervision, utilizing practical knowledge and skills.

The role includes activities such as hydrotherapy pool/swimming support, classroom assistance, 1-1 or small group work, supporting with specialist interventions, and lunchtime supervision.

Chellow Heights is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All staff will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and certain convictions may not need to be disclosed or may be filtered as per government guidance.
