A leading independent international school in South West London is seeking a compassionate and qualified Swedish Speaking School Nurse to join its supportive pastoral team. The school caters to students from early years to sixth form across two campuses and provides a nurturing, non-selective learning environment with a holistic approach to education.
As School Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing of students, supporting safeguarding practices, and managing day-to-day medical needs across the school. This is a part-time position with flexibility on start date depending on candidate availability.
Coordinate student health care including consultations, medications, and in-school vaccinations
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and liaise with safeguarding partners
Provide medical guidance and training to teachers and staff
Support younger student screening and ensure compliance with health policies
Maintain accurate medical records and handle related administration
Registered Nurse (RGN or RSCN) with relevant NMC registration
Fluent in Swedish (verbal and written preferred)
Experience in paediatric or school-based nursing
Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to work independently
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
A caring, empathetic approach and ability to work in a diverse school setting
Part-time contract with flexible working hours
Salary range £38,000 – £50,000 (negotiable based on experience)
