Language Business is assisting a leading international investment management organisation in London to recruit a Swedish-speaking Client Services Associate. The role is 100% office-based and supports major banks and institutional clients across Europe.

You will interact in Swedish and English, develop client insights, and contribute to efficient service delivery within a professional finance environment. A Bachelor's degree is required; financial services experience is not essential.

The Role

As a Swedish Speaking Client Services Associate, you will work closely with some of Europe's leading financial institutions, providing high-quality client support and helping to ensure smooth day-to-day service delivery.

You will develop a detailed understanding of your clients, their requirements and the wider investment management environment while collaborating with colleagues across international teams.

Please note: This is not a sales role and it is not a traditional customer service position. As a Client Services Associate, you will act as a key relationship and operational partner to institutional clients, helping them navigate investment-related processes and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

The role combines relationship management, problem-solving, analytical work and operational coordination within a professional financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, asset managers, institutional investors and other financial institutions across Europe.
• Provide professional and responsive support to clients across operational, administrative and service-related enquiries.
• Communicate with clients in both Swedish and English.
• Prepare client reports, business documentation and market-related information.
• Monitor client activity and proactively identify opportunities to improve the client experience.
• Support investment operations and wider internal business processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across international teams and business functions.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all activity follows internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Develop a strong understanding of the organisation's products, services and operational processes.
• Participate in structured training and professional development programmes.
• Build specialist knowledge within your area and work towards becoming a subject matter expert.
• Contribute to process improvements and initiatives designed to enhance client service and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent Swedish, together with fluent English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Previous experience can come from any industry sector; financial services experience is not required.
• A genuine interest in financial services, investment management, banking or client-facing business roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Salary & Benefits

Starting Salary: £35,000
