Title and Summary

SVP, Technology Regulatory Lead - Europe

SVP, Regional Technology Regulatory Lead, drives European in-region technology regulatory execution on behalf of TECH, working with key stakeholders across the business to maintain and enforce adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. This team serves as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders across our markets. This role reports to Grace Hayes, EVP Technology Regulatory Execution, with dotted lines into the European Regional President.

Overview

  1. Serve as regional SME and lead on technology regulatory matters, collaborating closely with cross-functional leadership.
  2. Promote resilience and enhance operational efficiency and security in the region through support of strategic technology solutions at a regional level.
  3. Monitor internal and external forces affecting business operations and engage with customers and regulators on our TECH thought leadership and modernization strategy.
  4. Deepen relationships with regulators by explaining our tech standards and practices, demonstrating our role as a trusted and reliable partner, and strengthening regulatory posture in designated markets.
  5. Ensure the regulatory catalog is updated timely to meet regional requirements, facilitating faster incident response.
  6. Maintain end-to-end regulatory technology traceability where required.
  7. Structure, socialize, and ensure compliance with regulatory tech frameworks, standards, and practices among regional partners and stakeholders.
  8. Provide operations oversight on behalf of regulators, integrating risk and audit best practices.
  9. Lead ICT compliance and oversight, staying current on regulations and standards.
  10. Apply TECH due diligence on major changes impacting the regions, supporting solutioning prioritization, and strengthening regulatory technology controls.
  11. Provide transparency through critical partnership and standardized reporting to senior leadership on ongoing regulatory matters and regional TECH impacts.
  12. Serve as a connector between regional BU teams and TECH as needed.

  • Essential technology qualifications.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and oversight.
  • Experience working with European regulatory entities.
  • French language fluency is a plus.
