Job Description:

The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management position responsible for leading a team or department to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The role's main goal is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to achieve goals and handle personnel duties (performance evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions).
• Provide strategic influence, control over resources, budget management, and planning while monitoring results.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of others to resolve issues.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards.
• Integrate knowledge of application development with overall technology functions to meet goals.
• Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of facts in complex, unique, and dynamic situations.
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties as needed.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and managing control issues transparently.
