A leading provider of integrated technology and payments solutions is looking for an SVP Business Performance in London. This role involves leading a team to drive commercial growth, providing insights, and leading critical initiatives across departments. Role Overview:
The SVP Business Performance will lead a team of ~15-20 consisting of Sales Enablement, Strategic Programs, Revenue Performance, and Compensation, which support our Commercial organization in achieving revenue growth targets across all our business lines.
The SVP Business Performance will be accountable for providing business insights (operational and analytical) to enable proactive decision making, and own and drive critical cross-departmental initiatives aiming to increase commercial outcomes, effectiveness and efficiency. The role has global scope, reports into Planet’s Chief Commercial Officer and is a part of the Commercial leadership team.
What you will do:
Own Commercial transformation agenda and lead cross-departmental projects as the CCO's voice
Act as a neutral consultant to CCO and field leadership to identify improvement opportunities
Oversee revenue growth initiatives and drive organizational performance culture
Transform operational data into actionable business insights to measure and steer the business
Coordinate activities across Commercial, Finance, and Operations for revenue performance insights
Establish KPI governance and associated business insights through reports and dashboards
Identify benchmarkable organizational KPIs for internal teams and external comparison
Champion the Signature to Revenue (S2R) programme ensuring customer performance aligns with projections
Optimize commission systems to reflect company objectives and drive desired sales behaviors
Improve CRM and GTM tools while supporting the organization with productivity initiatives
Who you are:
Successful leadership experience in payments/software business of similar scale and complexity
Strong track record delivering results through cross-functional growth acceleration programs
Superior advisory, relationship, and stakeholder management skills
10+ years professional experience with broad business skills across multiple disciplines
Previous experience in a fast-paced, private-equity sponsored environment
Strong commercial acumen with ability and passion to support and challenge business units
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth outcomes with efficient collaboration
Strong project management skills and experience driving organizational change
Experience working in international environments with multiple products/complex businesses
Strategic thinker with execution skills and willingness to challenge status quo
Proven people management experience, achieving outcomes with empathy in fast-paced environments
