The Sustainable Finance Research team at ISS-Corporate in London is seeking a specialist to join immediately. This team provides sustainability opinions on Green, Social, and Sustainability-Linked Bonds and offers training to Debt Capital Market stakeholders to advance ESG strategies. The role offers exposure to environmental and social topics, engaging with various stakeholders to develop sustainable finance solutions. The successful candidate will work independently, contribute to product and methodology development, and support the company's growth. Candidates should have a passion for sustainability, thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, and possess strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and support projects involving ESG analysis of Green, Social, and Sustainability-Linked Bonds, including assessing issuer strategies, managing client relationships, and producing reports.
2. Contribute to the development of products and methodologies.
3. Assist the Sales team with technical inquiries.
4. Create content related to Sustainable Bonds.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability/ESG consulting, environmental/climate consulting, or capital markets.
2. An advanced degree in environmental science, law, engineering, finance, economics, or international relations is preferred.
3. Interest in sustainability and knowledge of Green & Social Bonds, sustainable finance, or corporate sustainability analysis.
4. Experience with sustainable finance regulations and taxonomies (EU Taxonomy, CBI, EU Green Bond Standard, CSRD) is advantageous.
5. Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
6. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in multi-stakeholder projects.
7. Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
9. Client-facing experience is a plus.
10. Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural, collaborative, and innovative team across different locations.
