Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is expanding its platform through acquisitions and is offering an opportunity for an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You should be self-driven, commercially minded, and have strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and building relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, with a detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

Applicants should have:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation, or similar roles
• Proven proactivity in deal origination and acquisition execution
• Strong understanding of the environmental and ecology sectors
• Experience in acquiring small to medium-sized businesses (preferred)
• Degree or higher education

This role offers a salary of £80,000–£90,000, with a total compensation of approximately £150,000 plus equity. It is a fully remote position, with UK-wide travel required to meet clients and prospects.
