CPP Investments is seeking an Analyst for Sustainable Energies and Infrastructure Credit in London. The role covers investments across real asset credit, with focus on infrastructure, energy, power and renewables, in sub-investment grade credit and fund investments.

Based in an international team with colleagues in London, Toronto and New York, you will perform research, financial modelling and investment evaluation to support origination and execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field; CFA designation is a plus.
• Experience in infrastructure, power or energy equity or credit investing, advisory, M&A, leveraged or project finance, or restructuring.
• Strong research and financial modelling skills with ability to develop investment recommendations.
• Ability to communicate investment insights to diverse stakeholders in a clear manner.

Aufgaben

• Conduct industry, market, asset-level and financial research to support investment origination and execution.
• Review due diligence, perform credit analysis, present findings to investment teams and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models, perform valuation analyses and assess underwriting assumptions.
• Assess financing terms, covenants, security and stress-test debt structures.
• Prepare investment reviews covering dynamics, sponsors, merits and risks.
• Monitor portfolio investments and update analyses as conditions evolve.
• Support strategy, deal origination, relationship management and cross-functional initiatives.
