Job summary

Civic is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to help shape sustainable designs across projects in the UK. You will apply BIM modelling using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and Causeway Flow, prepare drawings, coordinate with internal and external teams, and support Engineering Technicians.

The role requires a Degree, HNC, or HND in civil engineering and 3–5 years’ experience, plus knowledge of CDM 2015 and Civic CAD/BIM standards.

Qualifications

Degree, HNC, or HND in civil engineering.
3-5 years of experience as a civil engineering technician.
Experience preparing and self-checking civil engineering drawings and models.
Good knowledge of drawing/modelling software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with Causeway Flow for BIM modelling.
Familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations and Civic CAD/BIM standards.

Responsibilities

Civil engineering BIM modelling using BIM compatible programmes including Autodesk Suite and Causeway Flow.
Prepare and self-check drawings and models.
Coordinate drawings and models with internal and external design teams.
Assist Engineering Technicians.
Transmit documents to external parties and manage documentation.
