A leading company in aviation consulting is seeking a Sustainable Aviation Associate to deliver projects aimed at reducing environmental impact. Decarbonising aviation has never been more important. Our work spans the design , evaluation and implementation of policies, development of pragmatic corporate sustainability strategies, and the delivery of sustainability initiatives. Our clients include governments, agencies, NGO , airlines, airports, and others on the journey to more sustainability operations.
The r ole :
As a Sustainable Aviation Associate , you’ll be a key part of our team delivering projects to reduce the environmental impact of aviation. Th is role sit s within our dedicated Sustainable Aviation team, which is part of the Aviation, Travel and Tourism consulting division . It will be focused on aviation sustainability, with additional opportunities to contribute to the diverse aviation projects delivered across the wider division.
Th is role can be based in either Spain or the UK . We are open to candidates based in our offices in Madrid and London, hybrid, or remote in-country.
How you will make an impact:
Contributing to the d eliver y of aviation sustainability projects .
Provide ICF’s clients with robust solutions to novel challenges. To do this, you will keep up to date with new market developments, policies, methodologies and practices and developing new ways of working.
Support business growth including activities such as building industry relationships, writing proposals, contributing to insightful articles, and attending conferences.
The k nowledge , skills and experience we’re looking for:
At least 2 years of direct experience in one or more of the following:
Aviation decarbonisation strategy development and implementation.
Carbon accounting and reporting , such as the GHG protocol and SBTi accounting systems.
Supply or demand of renewable or low carbon liquid fuels and gaseous transport fuels.
Sustainability policy development, evaluation and/or implementation.
Good analytical ability, including the processing, analysis, and visualization of varied datasets.
Excellent communication skills including formal report writing, presentation and client management, primarily in English.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field , such as engineering, economics, policy, or environ ment .
