Job summary

RBS is hiring a Sustainability Manager to translate strategy into actionable initiatives and help deliver sustainability goals within the bank’s broader business plan.

You will gather, analyse, and communicate data on sustainability outcomes, partnering with internal experts and external specialists to measure progress, embed focus, and drive change. The role is 13 months, with hybrid working and in-office presence at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate strategy into action.
• Experience in project and budget management within a corporate setting.
• Knowledge of sustainability and corporate responsibility and their impact on clients and colleagues.
• Understanding of the financial services industry to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Embed sustainability into business strategy and advise internal stakeholders.
• Support annual reporting, respond to benchmarks, and manage sustainability content.
• Develop and implement engagement plans with key stakeholders.
• Act as a central sustainability contact and communicate developments to the bank.
