Job summary

Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS) is seeking a Lead Strategist to shape sustainability in our investment process. You will partner with stakeholders to drive strategic priorities and represent our views at client meetings and events.

You will lead development of house views, oversee sustainability content and research, and guide teams across investments, legal and distribution in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in sustainability topics, trends and best practices.
• Ability to show vision and strategic clarity.
• Strong strategic thinking and change management skills.
• Ability to build relationships, inspire trust and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with asset classes and global capital markets.
• Experience with Factset, Bloomberg, Morningstar or MSCI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and represent MFS views on sustainability in investments.
• Lead strategic projects pertaining to sustainable investing.
• Develop and deliver the sustainability strategy.
• Develop house views and provide direction for presentations.
• Represent MFS at high-profile client meetings and events.
• Provide leadership for team members on strategic projects.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of governance, policies and implementation.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
