We're seeking a passionate and proactive Sustainability Specialist to help us implement our sustainability initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a graduate or early-career professional eager to make a positive impact, especially someone who understands the role pubs play in communities.

Role Purpose

At Punch Pubs & Co., we are committed to positively impacting the environment and society. We have committed to four SDGs and set twelve targets reported annually in our Punch Promise (ESG) report.

As a Sustainability Specialist, you will track, report, and advance our sustainability efforts. You will collaborate with the ESG Lead to embed DWBDG into our culture and drive meaningful change across our business and pubs.

Accountabilities

• Implement sustainability plans and activities.
• Align company goals with global frameworks like the UN SDGs.
• Support ESG initiatives and the production of the annual ESG report - The Punch Promise.
• Monitor and report on sustainability metrics such as:
• Carbon reporting (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
• SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting)
• ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme)
• TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)
• GRI (Global Reporting Initiative)
• Ensure regulatory compliance and stay updated on environmental laws and sustainability regulations.
• Engage with internal teams, external providers, and community organizations to develop ESG projects.
• Support employee engagement activities like volunteering and biodiversity projects.
• Promote cultural change by inspiring sustainable practices among employees, Publicans, and management partners.
