Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is hiring a Sustainability Reporting technical SME to support its newly established Sustainability Reporting team in London. This role involves ensuring compliance with applicable sustainability regulations, managing stakeholders, and enhancing the Group’s reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in financial services, particularly in sustainability reporting and financial regulations. The position offers a flexible working environment and numerous benefits to enhance employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • More than 10 years of PQE in financial services, preferably in banking.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability for self-directed research.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with ESG audit and/or assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure external reports meet TCFD, ISSB, and CSRD requirements.
  • Work with the CSO team to verify sustainability numbers.
  • Develop and maintain sustainability reporting policies.
